Lord of the Rings Tournament
Saturday July 18th
Schedule of events:
10:00-10:30 Registration and setup.
Please bring two copies of your army list.
10:15-10:30 Pre-tournament army inspection
10:30-12:30 Game #1
12:30-1:15 Lunch break, paint judging begins
1:15-3:15 Game #2
3:15-3:30 Break, paint judging ends
3:30-5:30 Game #3
5:30-5:45 Break, points tabulation
5:45-6:00 Awards Ceremony
Restrictions:
·Bring a 700 point army list. The list must include the name of the primary army list taken, models, equipment added, numbers of warriors taken and individual point costs. An example can be found below.
·We are limited to 16 players. $10 —first 16 to sign up and pay, play!
·Only "Legions of Middle Earth" army lists will be used. Be sure to look over "Mustering" rules on page 4 of this book.
·“What You See Is What You Get” is not in effect and all models NEED NOT be painted but must show some effort of being painted. All models MUST be fully constructed. All models must be Games Workshop Miniatures; conversions MUST include a majority of GW components. Illegal models WILL be removed from the table.
*Model Limit 3-75 models Bow Limit 33% Seige Engine Limit 0-3
·Please bring your army books and materials to answer your opponent’s concerns on composition and special rules, as well as all needed game materials (dice, rulers, pencils, etc).
Prizes (note that you can only win one category):
(NOTE: All prizes will be Game Shoppe gift certificates. The Entry fees will be used for these, so the value of each will be determined by the number of entrants we have.)
Overall - the player with the highest point total (Battle Points, Sportsmanship Points, and Army Appearance).
Best Sportsman - the player with the highest Sportsmanship score.
Best Army Appearance - the player with the highest Appearance score. If there is a tie, person with the higher Sportsmanship score wins. Note: your army need not be painted to be scored but you lose points if they are not ALL painted (3+ colors) and based.
Example army list:
Primary army list: The Shire
Frodo of the Nine Fingers with Elven Cloak: 70 points
15 Hobbit Militia (no other equipment): 45 points
Allied army list: None
Total: 115 points

Yes..for those models now published. Please bring your copy of White Dwarf along with you. Just in case there are questions on what your model can/can not do.
